Edwin has been practicing acupuncture and Oriental Medicine for 14+ years. He has a Masters of Science in Oriental Medicine and is state licensed and national board certified in both acupuncture and herbal medicine.

Edwin first got involved with Chinese Medicine through his interest in Tai Chi. His Tai Chi teacher was an acupuncturist who sparked his shy curiosity into a passion for learning Chinese Medicine and studying original classical texts. Currently he spends his free time diving deeper into the Classics and doing Chinese translations: “I feel that in order to get to the heart of the medicine, one has to understand its source.”

Edwin has a vast experience that ranges from orthopedic sports medicine to Classical Chinese herbal formula training for internal disorders. Hristina Dimova’s fascination with the holistic functions of the human body has led her to receive a Masters of Science in Oriental Medicine and a Bachelors of Science in Nutrition. She is National Board Certified in both acupuncture and Chinese herbs and is licensed in both Florida and Illinois. Hristina is also a certified Acupuncture Detox specialist through NADA.

Hristina received advanced training from Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine in China and Cook County’s John Stoger Hospital. Her experience includes working at the Edward Hines hospital treating and helping our veterans using NADA and Battlefield Acupuncture, which are specific types of auricular acupuncture treatments designed to help traumatized individuals cope with anxiety, depression, PTSD, addiction and fears and phobias.

Jinyoung gained a particular interest in pain management through her own personal experience with pain. As a teenager, she experienced debilitating cramps that couldn’t be helped by conventional medicine. When she turned to acupuncture and herbs, she experienced lasting relief that created an indelible imprint on her, giving her purpose to become a Korean Medicine Doctor specializing in pain management. As this medicine has greatly improved the quality of her life, it’s her commitment to do the same for others.

Jinyoung Jang, L.Ac., K.M.D. (Korean Medicine Doctor) was born in South Korea and received education in both China and Korea. She graduated from Beijing University of Chinese Medicine. She trained in a well-known Traditional Chinese Medicine hospital for many years under Dr. Zhou Ying, an accomplished Kidney/Liver specialist, and Dr. Yan Jiran, a highly acclaimed TCM G.I. doctor in China. Jinyoung has also received Western and traditional Korean medical education in South Korea for 5 years when becoming a Korean Medicine doctor. She uses intuitive energy work to connect you back to your body, as most physical symptoms can be a call to connect more deeply into the self. Dr. Reecha Patel is a trained Naturopathic Physician committed to being your partner in wellness. Her journey in alternative medicine began when she was a young child growing up in an Indian household where Ayurvedic and other home remedies would be used to treat various conditions. She now strives to utilize her knowledge to bring patients back to a healthy state by getting to the root cause of their problems and using evidence-based natural therapies to treat them. Many of those therapies include botanical medicine, nutritional counseling, and hydrotherapy. She also has an interest in women’s health, mental illness, and most major hormonal imbalances.
